Within the framework of cooperation between Damietta University and Damietta Governorate in the field of community participation, and in light of the interest in developing Egyptian villages through the presidential initiative (a decent life), the first awareness campaigns were implemented in Kafr Sad Center and City, aiming at rehabilitating the community and raising awareness for Decent Life Initiative , With the participation of the Environmental Affairs Agency of the East Delta Region and the Ministry of Endowments.

The Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the university participated in the presence of Prof. / Talat Abdel Moneim Hegazy, Professor at  the Department of Environmental Sciences  faculty of Science, and Prof. / Mohamad Abu Rayyah, lecturer at the faculty of Agriculture.
