Professor Dr. Khaled Abd Al Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, issued a ministerial decision regarding the establishment of an Adult Education Center at Damietta University (a unit of a special nature) and the adoption of the financial and administrative regulations for the Adult Education Center at Ain Shams University.

It is worth noting that the Supreme Council of Universities had previously approved, in its session held on June 19, the establishment of the center.

The establishment of the Adult Education Center aims to meet the requirements of illiterate adults by organizing literacy classes inside and outside the university, as well as providing opportunities for rehabilitation and continuous and growing training for the various groups working in adult education to achieve their familiarization with professional, educational and skill developments. With this, professor Dr .El Sayed Mohamad Dadour the president of the university, extends his best wishes to professor Dr. Abd Al Hamid Khedr, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, on the occasion of the issuance of this decision, which comes within the efforts of the Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector to establish centers and units of a special nature that serve the community.
