Professor Dr. El Sayed  Mohamad  Dadour  the president of the University and Chairman of the Education Committee of the National Committee for Education, Science and Culture, received a letter from Prof. Dr. General Secretary of the Egyptian National Committee for Education, Science and Culture UNESCO-ALECSO-ISESCO, which included the committee’s approval of the establishment of the “UNESCO Club at Damietta University”, which aims to raise awareness Students’ community and enhancing the value of teamwork and practicing intellectual, cultural and artistic activities within the university. This comes in line with the university’s vision to enhance student participation in various cultural, literary and artistic fields to employ their constructive energies in positive activities that directly work on building and forming the university student’s personality during the various stages of study starting from joining the university to graduating and what the student goes through during this stage of study. Various experiences, activities and events, as well as promoting the participation of various university employees to practice different activities. The club's plan for future activities to be held and how to participate in those activities will be announced later, in preparation for placing the "UNESCO Club at Damietta University" on the international list of UNESCO clubs.
