The Supreme Council of Universities, in its session held today, Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Ain Shams University, agreed to change the name of the Faculty of Computers and Information at Damietta University to become the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence, and this comes in line with what has been updated in the college’s programs in the past period, foremost of which is the Artificial Intelligence Program. The Supreme Council of Universities also approved today the internal regulations of the College of Computing with the credit hour system, which includes many aspects of development that come to keep pace with global developments in the field of computers and artificial intelligence and to match the major international colleges of computers and artificial intelligence, in accordance with international quality standards. The Supreme Council of Universities also agreed today to start studying at the doctoral stage from inside and outside and for international students at the College of Computers and Information. In this regard, Professor Dr. El-Sayed Mohamad Dadour, President of the University, extends his sincere congratulations to the work team at the Faculty of Computers and Information, led by Professor Dr. Wael Abd Al Kader Awad, Dean of the Faculty.
