The DAAD is conducting in cooperation with the American university in Cairo (AUC) this year’s falling walls lab Cairo 2021 on 14^th of July 2021.

The Falling walls lab is an international platform where excellent academies, entrepreneurs and professionals from all disciplines get the opportunity to present their research work and innovative projects or ideas during 3 minutes in front of audience and a jury. The winner of each local lab qualify for falling walls final in berlin on 8^th of November every year. DAAD will sponsor the winners' trip to the final in Berlin. In addition, the American University will present a special prize for the idea that will receive the highest votes from the public.

The application deadline for applicants has been extended to the 15^th June /2021.
