This morning, Monday, July 3, it was announced in the London Times Ranking of Young Universities (THE Young University Ranking 2023). This classification gives an arrangement for the best universities in the world that have passed fifty years or less, and Damietta University ranked globally 151-200, thus achieving the second place at the level of Egyptian universities. It is worth noting that Damietta University was established only eleven years ago, and this ranking is a reflection of what the university has achieved in record time, as it appears in most international rankings as an internationally ranked university. It advances from year to year in order with these classifications, as this demonstrates the doubled effort made by the university in order to develop scientific research, laboratories, equipment and research centers. The scientific plan developed by the university in order to improve the global ranking of the university and the mechanisms for following up the implementation of that plan. It also shows the interest of scientists in the university in international publishing in the best scientific journals and periodicals.
