Today, Monday, January 30, 2023, Professor Dr. El-Sayed Mohamad Dadour, the President of the University, launched the training activities for the residents of the Government Excellence Award at the university by organizing workshops to train residents from the administrative apparatus, according to the directives of the Ministry of Planning, in the presence of Professor Dr. Abd Al Hamid Khedr, Vice President for Community Service Affairs. And the development of the environment and the head of the internal awards management team at the university and Professor Dr. Mohamad Omran, the evaluation officer in the university’s internal awards team, and  Eng. / Menna Jamal Al-Baz, the logistical support officer. During the meeting, the president of the university welcomed the attendees, headed by the trainers from the Ministry of Planning, who are Dr. Hazem Sharaf Al-Din Hafez Sharaf Al-Din, Dr. Mohamad Abd Al-Salam Mohamad, and Dr. Esraa Hassan Sedky. He confirmed that Damietta University was a pioneer in these meetings and supported distinguished people in various fields, and the idea started at the university in October 2017. The training program comes out of the keenness of the award management to implement the objectives of Egypt's Vision 2030 to support the state's efforts towards the development process to improve the quality of service provided to citizens, including It contributes to improving the quality of life of the citizen and enhancing the competitiveness and leadership of the Egyptian state in light of the new republic. It is worth noting that the training program lasts for three days, starting from January 30 to February 1, 2023 in the General Administration building of Damietta University. The program aims to spread and promote a culture of excellence and work to build the capacities of government cadres. By sharing knowledge of the latest developments and concepts related to the system of excellence in providing government services by focusing on several axes, including strategic linking and leadership, focus on customers, customer experience, services and delivery channels, service efficiency and innovation, human resources, integrated technology with a review of best practices in each axis and how to apply it within this service center.
