The Science, Technology, and Innovation Funding Authority (STDF), in collaboration with the Center for the Development of Industrial Technology in Spain (CDTI), announces opening the applications for the 9th Call of the Egyptian-Spanish Technological Cooperation Program. This program aims to support and connect scientific research with industry, encouraging Egyptian researchers to apply their research and outputs to solve industrial problems, and to enhance technological cooperation between both parties in technology development, innovation, and technology transfer projects. The program seeks to achieve mutual economic benefits and strengthen competitiveness in fields such as agriculture, water resource management, health, construction, renewable energy, environment, strategic industries, transportation, tourism, and archaeology.

Application Requirements:

• Applicants must hold a PhD and be affiliated with an Egyptian research institution, collaborating with an Egyptian industrial partner (companies or industrial entities) and a Spanish industrial partner.

Funding:
Accepted projects will receive funding of up to 150,000 euros for the Egyptian side.

Deadline for proposal submission: April 30, 2025.
