Damietta University participated in the activities of the Higher Education Exhibition in its third edition on Saturday, August 17, 2024, which was organized by Akhbar Al-Youm Foundation in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education, under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, and Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and in the presence of Professor Dr. Reda Hegazy, former Minister of Education, writer Rifaat Fayyad, managing editor of Akhbar Al-Youm and supervisor of organizing the exhibition, a number of leaders of the Akhbar Al-Youm Foundation, and a number of university presidents and leaders. This was presented by a university delegation headed by Professor Dr. Mohamad Abdo Amasha, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Sherine Mohammad Ghallab, Vice President of the College of Specific Education for Education and Student Affairs, Dr. Abeer Ragheb Al-Etrebi, Assistant Professor of Clothing and Textiles in the Department of Home Economics at the College of Specific Education, and Dr. Hajar Al-Ghubari, the lecturer. In the Department of Art Education at the college, and Dr. Mohammad Ragab, a teacher in the Computer Department at the college, gave a detailed presentation about the modern study programs and research opportunities at the university. The Damietta University pavilion witnessed a large turnout of students who were interested in learning about the university’s faculties and programs in various academic specializations. It is worth noting that the main goal of the exhibition lies in providing the opportunity for society, with its various institutions, groups, and individuals, to learn about Egyptian and international university education institutions, including understanding their educational and scientific systems and procedures, and interacting with them. The exhibition coincides with the timing of applications in Egyptian public, private, and private universities and higher institutes after completion. From the high school level.
