The University President witnesses a workshop on “Principles of First Aid”

                 Within the framework of the directives of His Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie Al-Metwally, President of the University, to achieve integration and interconnection between the university’s faculties in order to improve skills and achieve the principles of occupational safety and health, the Community Service Affairs and Environmental Development Sector at the College of Archeology organized a workshop entitled Principles of First Aid and Occupational Safety and Health, in partnership with the Community Service Affairs Sector and environmental development at the College of Medicine. This came in the presence of Dr. Yousr Ezz Al-Rigal, Vice Dean of the College of Antiquities for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Professor Dr. Bassem Salama Al-Deek, Vice Dean of the College of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and  Professor  Dr. Nasra Ayoub, Vice Dean of the College of Medicine for Education and Student Affairs. The workshop was held in the clinical skills laboratories of the College of Human Medicine for attendees including students, faculty members, supporting staff, and administrators, and training on how to perform pulmonary resuscitation and deal with emergency cases, bleeding, poisoning, stinging, burns, and fractures. It was presented by Professor Dr. Bassem Salama Al-Deek, and Dr. Heba Adel Ramadan, clinical skills officer at the college. Through realistic practical exercises and introductory videos. For his part, Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie Al-Metwally, President of the University, praised the organization of the workshop and the skill of presentation, stressing its importance in raising awareness among university employees on how to deal with emergency situations and the necessity of disseminating it, wishing everyone continued safety.
