Under the auspices of Prof. / El-Sayed Mohamed Dadour - President of the University and the supervision and guidance of Prof. / Abdel Hamid Khedr - Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, On 28/11/2021, the sector of Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs at the university held a seminar on religious awareness and correcting misconceptions, at the Faculty of Arts at Damietta University in cooperation with Al-Azhar Al-Sharif. The seminar was honored with the presence of Prof. / Attia Al-Qolali, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, and Sheikh / Mohamad Mohamad Taha Abu Al-Wafa, a general preacher and member of the Fatwa Committee and the Unification Unit of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif .

Discussing the negative effects on our youth and society as a result of misconceptions and trying to reform the destructive thought of young people and protect them from extremist ideas. In addition to answer the posed questions and listening to the youth. We also note that seminars and meetings are continuing on some faculties of the university with the aim of reaching all youth gatherings.
