University President Launches First National Education Program for Female Students

         Launching of the first national education courses for female university students.. Emphasis on readiness for modern generation wars and strengthening belonging. The University President, Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie Al-Metwaly, President of the University, and Brigadier General Mohamed Khalifa, Military Advisor to Damietta Governorate, inaugurated today, Wednesday, March 5, 2025, the first national education courses for female students of the university, at the headquarters of the Faculty of Education, within the framework of enhancing security and national awareness among female students, and in preparation for facing the challenges of fourth and fifth generation wars, which aim to destabilize society through modern means of communication. In his opening address, the military advisor to Damietta Governorate stressed that “these courses are a strategic step to consolidate national unity and protect the state’s gains,” noting that the participation of female students constitutes practical evidence of the effective role of women in building society and warding off contemporary dangers, whether through intellectual or field confrontation. For her part, Professor Dr. Amany Awad, Dean of the College of Education, explained that “fifth generation wars do not carry traditional weapons, but rather invade minds through rumors and misleading campaigns,” adding: “Female students are the first line of defense for family and community awareness, and these trainings arm them with the skills necessary to intellectually fortify the nation.” In turn, Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie, President of the University, praised the cooperation with the Armed Forces to implement the program, saying: “Military education is not just training, but rather an integrated system for building an aware citizen who is aware of the challenges of his time. A strong nation needs young people who defend its existence by all means.” The activities of the National Education Course for female students continue for 12 days, and include:

- Theoretical lectures for 5 hours daily on the role of Egyptian women throughout the ages.

- The comprehensive forces of the Egyptian state in the wars of 67_73_48.

- Training workshops on first aid.

- Awareness lectures on blood and plasma transfusion.

- Educational seminars on the role of the armed forces in combating terrorism.

- The role of the armed forces in comprehensive development.

- Awareness lectures on the plan to divide Arab countries.

- Lectures on fourth and fifth generation wars and the dangers of social media.
