The University President welcomed the former Minister of Higher Education

        Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie Al-Metwally, President of the University, this afternoon, September 12, 2024, welcomed Professor Dr. El-Sayed Ahmed Abd Al-Khalek, Professor of Political Economy and Economic Legislation at the Faculty of Law, Mansoura University and former Minister of Higher Education, before heading to discuss the doctoral dissertation submitted by researcher Mahmoud Mohamed Mahmoud Abd Al-Gleel entitled “National Security.” And the economics of major projects in Egypt” to obtain a doctorate in law, specializing in economics and public finance under the chairmanship of His Excellency and with the membership of Professor Dr. Mustafa Kamel Khalil, Professor and Head of the Department of Political Economy and Economic Legislation, former Dean of the Faculty of Law at Aswan University, former Dean of the Faculty of Law at Damietta University and supervisor of the dissertation, and Major General Dr. Rafeek  Galal Ibrahim, Rear Admiral A.H., researcher in international relations and national security, and Executive Managing Director. Damietta Container and Cargo Handling Company. The Minister, Professor Dr. El-Sayed Ahmed Abd Al-Khalek, expressed his happiness at his presence at Damietta University. He also praised the doctoral thesis submitted by the researcher, appreciating the effort made to complete it and the importance of its subject. For his part, Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie, President of the University, welcomed the Discussion and Arbitration Committee at Damietta University and the honor of the former Minister of Higher Education. He also congratulated the researcher Mahmoud Mohamed Mahmoud Abdel Gleel for granting him a doctorate degree, which was approved by the Discussion and Arbitration Committee with an excellent grade.
