In preparation for housing students in university cities, Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie Al-Metwally, President of the University, today, October 8, 2024, inspected the Girls’ University City to follow up on the final stage of maintenance, restoration and development of the city before housing female students. His Excellency was accompanied by Professor Dr. Mohamad Abdel Hamid Shehab, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Al-Jamal, Head of the Civil Engineering Department at the College of Engineering, Eng. Hanan Al-Halafawi, Director General of Engineering Affairs at the University, and Professor Amer Abu Al-Enein, Director General of University Cities. The University President reviewed the final finishing works for maintenance and restoration of some facilities in the city and its facilities, and ensured the availability of safety and security standards in all buildings and facilities in the university city, in order to provide an appropriate and safe environment. His Excellency directed the necessity of adhering to all previously agreed upon standards and speeding up completion according to the timetable.
