Under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the United Company, Damietta University, and the Student Activities Sector of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Damietta University delegation participated in a number of student events that are organized for Egyptian university students participating in the “The World Alamein” Festival in New El Alamein City 2024.

Damietta University participated in a number of sporting activities, including five-a-side football and volleyball, in addition to attending many artistic, musical and singing events, and visiting the exhibitions accompanying the festival. The results of the five-a-side football matches came with Damietta University leading the way, beating the Tanta University team by three goals to one, and the Sohag University team by two goals to none. It is worth noting that the participation of students in various student activities came within the framework of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s interest in enhancing interaction between them and contributing to refining the students’ personalities, building their awareness, enhancing their entrepreneurial spirit, broadening their horizons, and developing the capabilities of young people in line with achieving the goals of the National Strategy for Higher Education and Scientific Research. And Egypt Vision 2030.
