He attended a specialized workshop on CV writing, in which a group of students from practical colleges and distinguished graduates participated. The visit came to confirm the university’s commitment to empowering its young cadres and preparing them for the labor market in professional ways. During the workshop, which was presented by Dr. Alaa Mohamed El-Sayed, Assistant Professor and Career Development Specialist at the Center, the focus was on methods of writing a distinctive CV, highlighting the practical skills and academic and professional achievements of students in a way that attracts employers. The workshop also discussed the best global practices in designing CVs and avoiding common mistakes. In a speech during the visit, the university president welcomed the attendees, expressing his pride in their capabilities and potential, saying: “Your selection to participate in this workshop was not random, but rather came in appreciation of your excellence. You are the future of this university, and caring about honing your skills is an investment that we believe in its value. Remember that your CV is not just a document, but rather a gateway to achieving your professional dreams.” The university president added that such initiatives come within a comprehensive strategy to enhance the readiness of graduates, noting that the center will continue to provide quality training programs in cooperation with colleges and industrial partners. It is worth noting that the University’s Career Development Center organizes workshops and training courses in many areas such as personal interview skills, effective communication, and project management, with the aim of bridging the gap between academic life and the requirements of the labor market.
