As part of the directives of Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, to support international partnership programs and provide opportunities for Egyptian students and researchers to gain global expertise, which contributes to delivering better educational services that enhance their scientific and practical skills and positively impact the development of the educational and research system in Egypt, in alignment with the goals of the National Strategy for Higher Education and Scientific Research and Egypt Vision 2030.

The Central Administration of Missions at the Cultural Affairs and Missions Sector of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has announced the opening of applications for scholarships to get a PhD degree in English, offered by Hungary for the academic year 2025/2026.

The announcement specified that the scholarships cover the following fields: Mathematics, Physics, Information Technology, and Technological Education, along with other areas of interest, including Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy.

The scholarships are open to the following categories, based on priority:

• Assistant staff members of universities and Egyptian research centers.
• Administrative cadres in government institutions included in the Missions Plan.
• Private universities and research centers.
• Individuals who are not assistant staff members and have no employment affiliation in Egypt.
