Under the auspices of Prof. / El-Sayed Mohamed Dadour - President of the University and the supervision and guidance of Prof. / Abdel Hamid Khedr - Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, On 21/11/2021, the sector of Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs at the university held the second seminar on religious awareness and correcting misconceptions, at the Faculty of Agriculture at Damietta University in cooperation with Al-Azhar Al-Sharif. The seminar was honored in the presence of Prof. / El metwally Mostafa Selim, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, and Prof. / Mostafa Maher Al Moghazy, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture for Education & Student Affairs. The seminar was lectured by Sheikh / Mohamad Mohamad Taha Abu Al-Wafa, a general preacher and member of the Fatwa Committee and the Unification Unit of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, Discussing the negative effects on our youth and society as a result of misconceptions and trying to reform the destructive thought of young people and protect them from extremist ideas. In addition to answer the posed questions and listening to the youth. We also note that seminars and meetings are continuing on some faculties of the university with the aim of reaching all youth gatherings.
