Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie Al-Metwally, President of the University, went to the headquarters of the Ministry of Local Development in the New Administrative Capital to congratulate Professor Dr. Manal Awad on the occasion of her assuming the position of Minister of Local Development in the new ministerial formation of the government. Professor Dr. Hemdan Al-Metwally expressed his sincere wishes to the Minister of Local Development for success, noting that her assumption of the position comes as a culmination of her efforts and tangible contributions in terms of economic, environmental and investment development during her assuming responsibility in Damietta Governorate from 2018 until her selection as Minister of Local Development in the new government. The Minister of Local Development expressed her sincere appreciation for this kind gesture from the President of Damietta University, expressing her sincere pride in the confidence of President Abd Al Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, for choosing her in this position as the first woman to hold the position of Minister of Local Development.
