Today, May 21, 2024, Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie, President of the University, inaugurated the technical exhibition of the products of the Restoration Department at the Faculty of Archaeology, in the presence of Professor Dr. Al-Metawaly Mostafa Selim, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Professor Dr. Mohamad Abd Al Hamid Shehab, Secretary-General of the University, and Professor Dr. Youssr Ezz Al-Rigal, Vice Dean of the College for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Professor Dr. Nabil Mabrouk, Vice Dean of the College for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Professor Dr. Mohamad Abd Al-Barr, Head of the Restoration Department, and a number of distinguished faculty members, the college’s supporting staff, and the college’s male and female students. During the university president's inspection of the artistic works, he expressed his pride in the students' creative works he saw and the level of artistic works characterized by the spirit of art and creativity, stressing the importance of investing in the energies, talents and artistic creativity of the university students. For her part, Professor Dr. Youssr Ezz Al-Regal, the College’s Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, explained that the exhibition includes the students’ artwork, which includes oil paintings executed on canvas and wooden easels, as well as other paintings that express the abstract nature that is dominated by the characteristic of “imitation” obsolescence, pointing out The exhibition also includes some works of woodwork executed with relief and intaglio engraving, and others of models on wood, in addition to works of Islamic decoration and mosaic, as well as works from the textile and crafts sector.
