Damietta University ranked 4th locally and 47th globally in the Higher Education Ranking 2025.  HE: Higher Education Rankings. Damietta University has achieved a new milestone in its academic career, ranking fourth locally and 47th globally in the Higher Education Rankings (HE) 2025. This ranking is one of the most prominent global rankings specializing in evaluating university performance based on a number of criteria and key performance indicators. This Ranking, issued by the Turkish Higher Education Quality and Evaluation Council (HEQAC)*, reflects the university's excellence based on 25 criteria and 177 performance indicators, covering diverse areas such as:

- Achieving sustainable education and equity in educational opportunities.

- Enhancing the digital infrastructure and future vision of institutions.

- Universities' commitment to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

- Ensuring academic quality and enhancing transparency and academic freedom for higher education institutions.

The HE ranking is considered one of the most prominent modern tools for measuring university performance globally. Only 422 universities from around the world were able to participate and submit their data for this ranking, which adds special significance to Damietta University's achievement in light of the extensive international competition.

This achievement highlights the university's commitment to academic excellence standards and its commitment to keeping pace with global developments in higher education, further strengthening its position as one of the leading institutions locally and globally.
