The British Times Foundation announced the results of the world university rankings for the year 2025. THE: World University Rankings 2025. Damietta University ranked 1001 globally and 25 in Africa. It achieved fourth place locally among 35 Egyptian universities ranked this year. It is worth noting that the British Times Foundation's classification of international universities is based on five main criteria: teaching, research environment, quality of scientific research, industry, and internationalization. The Times result this year showed Damietta University’s continued leadership in scientific research. The results also showed progress in the teaching and internationalization standards over last year, which indicates the efforts made by the university administration to develop the educational process and conclude international agreements that contribute to the quality of the educational and research process at the university. On this occasion, Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie, President of the University, extends his thanks to Professor Dr. Mohammad Abdel Hamid Shehab, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, and sincere congratulations to all those affiliated with the University. He also extends his thanks to the team of the University’s Classifications Unit, headed by Professor Dr. Amany Al-Diasty, Director of the Classifications Unit, for the effort because of the exerted great effort in this file.
