Today, Wednesday, March 16, 2022, Professor Dr. El-Sayed Mohamad Dadour, President of the University, witnessed the inauguration ceremony of the University Student Union, which was organized by the Education and Student Affairs Sector, led by Professor Dr. Wael Farouk Al-Taibany, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and organized by the General Administration for Student Welfare under the supervision of Mr. Mohamed Refaat, Director General General Administration of Student Welfare. The ceremony, which was presented by Rawan Hussein, a student in the Department of Museums Management in the third year at the Faculty of Archeology in the Republican Peace, was followed by a recitation of verses from the Noble Qur’an, then a speech by the student Anas Al-Jamal, President of the University Students’ Union, and then a speech by Professor Dr. Wael Farouk Al-Taibany.

During the university president’s speech, he congratulated male and female students on this day, affirming his pride in the role of the university’s student union council because of its important role in representing their fellow male and female students, which is considered the voice of male and female students, wishing them all success and payment.

Subsequently, the following were honored:

1. Students who got places in the first week for students of student families.
2. Students participating in the creativity and genius program competition.
3. Ideal students and ideal female students at the university level.
4. The first place cup for the general arrangement of the Student Families Week, which was won by the Students for Egypt family at the Faculty of Physical Education, the family leader, Dr. Hamdy Al-Nawasry, the assistant professor in the Sports Training Department.

Then the inauguration ceremony of the University Students' Union began for the members of the Student Union Council and the committees of the Union Council, followed by a number of student activities.
