Today, Tuesday, November 29, 2022, Professor Dr. El-Sayed Mohamad Dadour, President of the University, welcomed the Board of Directors of the General Syndicate of University Workers, which is the first elected Council of the Syndicate at Damietta University. The meeting was also attended by Professor Dr. Khaled Al-Zohairy, Secretary General of the University, and the elected members of the Syndicate’s Board of Directors. At the beginning of the meeting, the University President welcomed the attendees and congratulated them on their assumption of the University Workers Union Council, and wished them success during the next stage. The Council of the Syndicate also thanked Professor Dr. El-Sayed Mohamad Dadour, President of the University, for his support to the university staff and his keenness to allocate a headquarters for the Workers' Syndicate. It is worth noting that the University Workers Syndicate Council is the first for Damietta University. The role of the union includes disbursing subsidies, setting up trips, health care for workers, and the Social Solidarity Fund.
