It was announced hours ago a result of the Times classification of universities regarding their societal impact and related to achieving the goals of the United Nations for sustainable development, and for the fourth time in a row the name of Damietta University appeared among the universities announced in this classification Damietta University came overall in the 601-800 rank among the universities in the world that appeared in this classification. Despite the recent establishment of the university and the presence of other obstacles, Damietta University ranked fifth among Egyptian public, international, and private universities. It is worth noting that the universities that appear in any global classification are those that achieve specific criteria that allow them to appear in the classification, and the university has appeared in 16 goals out of 17 goals of the United Nations for sustainable development, and its most prominent positions are as follows:
Place 101-200 in the third goal "Clean Energy".
Position 201-300 in the eleventh goal "Sustainability in cities and local communities".
Rank 301-400 in the fourth goal, "Quality of Education".
Position 401-600 in the fifth goal, "gender equality".
