In light of the plan developed to visit all faculties of Damietta University. Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie Al-Metwally, Acting President of the University, attended part of the Council of the Faculty of Arts held at the Faculty’s headquarters today, Monday, August 7, 2023, in order to discuss the needs of the faculties and provide the necessary services to prepare for the new academic year 2023/2024, where His Excellency went to the College of Arts this morning and was welcomed by Professor Dr. Attia Al-Imam Al-Kolaly, Dean of the College, and the meeting was attended by the college leaders, heads of departments, and a number of faculty members and the supporting staff. The university president indicated that a master plan is being prepared for each of the university's sectors, which clarifies the university's vision, the planning of its future buildings, and the general shape that enhances its privacy and legacy, stressing the importance of raising awareness of the importance of digital transformation, the culture of interactive smart education, preparing the human element to keep pace with this development, and reconsidering In courses to develop the capabilities of faculty members with the need to follow the standards of the Education Quality Assurance and Accreditation Authority as a road map for the work of the college; In addition to the criteria of the Egypt Award for Government Excellence, and to work on studying the issue of increasing the number of international students and preparing all capabilities to attract new numbers of international students through awareness of the distinguished programs of the college and their importance to the labor market. At the end of the meeting, Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie listened to the questions of the faculty members of the college and answered them. Finally, Dr. Rabie thanked the college leaders, faculty members, and college administrators.
