Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie, Acting President of the University, met today, Monday, August 7, 2023, with the college leaders, faculty members, and the College of Engineering’s supporting staff, in light of the inspection tours of all the university’s colleges to set future plans for the university. He was welcomed by Professor Dr. Hamdy Al-Ghandour, Dean of the College of Engineering, Vice Deans and a number of faculty members, where the meeting dealt with the essential role of the College of Engineering and maximizing the role of the various departments of the college, in light of the development plan that the university administration is working on in the coming period. The university president pointed out the university's keenness to provide all capabilities and support to the college, in order to achieve comprehensive quality in engineering education, and to prepare engineers capable of competing in the local and regional labor market. Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie stressed the keenness of Damietta University to work collectively for the development of the university, and to join efforts for the advancement and development of the university at the local, regional and international levels.
