Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie, Acting President of Damietta University, extends his sincere congratulations to the university’s daughter, the champion Youmna Ayad, a student in the second year at the Faculty of Physical Education, on the occasion of her winning the silver medal in the African Championship in the 57 kg category in boxing, and her official qualification for the Paris 2024 Olympics as the first Egyptian player to qualify in Boxing sport. The university president confirmed that the student, Youmna Ayyad, fought strong, enthusiastic matches, during which she was able to win African silver and qualify for the Paris Olympics as the first Egyptian player to qualify in boxing, becoming a role model in light of the university and state’s belief in the necessity of unleashing the creativity of Egyptian youth and highlighting their talents.
