In the context of his continuous keenness to improve the quality of the educational process and ensure a distinguished examination environment for students, Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie Al-Metwally, President of the University, this morning, January 1, 2025, go on an inspection tour to follow up  the progress of the first semester examinations in the university colleges, and to determine the level of academic and administrative organization within examination committees. The university president's tour began with a visit to the College of Nursing, where the university president inspected the practical tests in the college laboratories to ensure the progress of the examination process. This was followed by a visit to the College of Arts, where the President of the University was welcomed by Professor Dr. Attia Al-Kolaly, Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Ismail Ragab, Vice Dean of the College for Education and Student Affairs, and Professor Dr. Hamed Al-Far, Director of the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Unit at the College. The President of the University inspected the examination halls to ensure the progress of the examination process, and his Excellency met with a number of students inside the halls, where he listened to their opinions on the questions and examination conditions, stressing the importance of providing a calm and comfortable environment that enables them to perform the examinations optimally. The university president also followed up on the precautionary measures to ensure the health and safety of students during exams. Then the President of the University went to the College of Commerce, who was accompanied by Professor Dr. Yasser Samra, Dean of the College, on an inspection tour in the examination halls, to follow up on procedures for providing comfort to students. The University President also reassured the process of distributing questions and coordinating work between observers and students. The University President praised the provision of an appropriate examination environment, praising the fruitful cooperation between the college administration and faculty members. Then, the President of the University went to the College of Education, where he was welcomed by Professor Dr. Amany Awad, Dean of the College, and Professor Dr. Mohamad Hassan Gomaa, Vice Dean of the College for Education and Student Affairs. During the visit, the university president inspected the examination halls and spoke with the students about their experience during the examinations, assuring them that the university seeks to provide all means of support and comfort in order to take the examinations in an appropriate environment. This inspection tour comes within the university president’s plan to follow up on the progress of the academic and examination process periodically, in order to identify students’ needs and listen to their suggestions and comments to ensure the provision of an outstanding educational experience.
