Under the patronage of Prof.dr./ Mamdouh Nematallah, the acting President of Damietta University and Prof.dr./ Tarek M. Abou El Maati, the Vice President for Education & Student Affairs, the University participated in the first conference of students’ initiatives at the Egyptian universities, "You are the Solution" which organized by Mansoura University on 25-26 / 3/2017, with «10» students presenting two initiatives in healthy and educational fields, The first initiative, was entitled "Education for All", aims to educate special needs students English language  in the early stages , The second initiative was entitled "Better awareness for a better life", aimed at educating youth , particularly teenagers about AIDS.
