The Council of Ministers, at its session # 101 on July 22, 2020 in El Alamein City, approved amending some provisions of the executive regulations of the University Regulation Law promulgated by Law No. 49 of 1972 ,establishing the Faculty of Human Medicine at Damietta University. So, Damietta University is made up of 14 faculties, the study is under way with 13 faculties , and it will immediately begin equipping the laboratories of the College of Medicine and make the utmost effort in order to start the study at the College of Human Medicine in the university year 2021-2022. professor Dr . El Sayed Mohamad Dadour the president of the university extends all thanks and appreciation to all who support this file .Led by. professor Dr. Khaled Abd Al Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and professor  Dr. Mohamad Latif, Secretary of the Supreme Council of Universities ,Professor Dr. Ashraf Talaat, who supervised the establishment of the college with the assistance of Professor  Dr. Basem Al-Deek and Professor Mohamed Atia Ornasa, Administrative Coordinator of the College and others who contributed over the past three years in preparing this file and fulfill the requirements of the Medical Sector Committee and the Supreme Council of Universities.
