As part of efforts to enhance the development of the Egyptian individual and implement the directives of His Excellency the President of the Republic under the initiative "A New Beginning for Building the Egyptian Individual," which aims to invest in human capital and strengthen national identity through integration and coordination among various state institutions, the Supreme Council of Universities has released an introductory video about the Student Activities Registration Platform.
This initiative is launched under the patronage of Prof. / Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and guided by Prof. / Mostafa Refaat, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Universities. It reflects the Council's commitment to promoting the role of student activities in shaping students' personalities, fostering a sense of loyalty and belonging, and creating a conscious generation capable of innovation and contribution.
The video was produced by the Supreme Council of Universities through the Electronic and Knowledge Services Center in collaboration with the General Administration of Education and Student Affairs. It highlights the importance of student activities in university life, their role in strengthening human connections between students and faculty members, and their function as a primary tool for integrating students into the university community and preparing them for life in society. The platform also provides spaces for students to engage in activities aligned with their interests and develop various skills.
The objectives of the Student Activities Registration Platform include:

Documenting and electronically archiving student activities at Egyptian colleges.

Facilitating the generation of monthly, quarterly, or annual reports on various activities.

Helping universities plan and announce future activities to increase student participation.

Enhancing competitiveness among universities by tracking student activities at other institutions.

Providing decision-makers with comprehensive reports to monitor the impact of activities on students and their ability to create positive changes.
The platform also features links to prominent community initiatives, such as "A New Beginning for Building the Individual" and environmental conservation activities. It includes an electronic library with educational and awareness booklets, along with others highlighting university achievements. Future plans for the platform aim to include awareness activities addressing contemporary social, economic, and political issues.
