The annual Ramadan Breakfast Party for the "Students for Egypt" family

          Professor Dr. Hamdan Rabie Al-Metwally, President of the University, and Professor Dr. Ayman Mohamed Al-Shahabi, Governor of Damietta, participated this evening, Wednesday, March 12, 2025, in the annual Ramadan Iftar party organized by the “Students for Egypt” family at Damietta University. In the presence of a group of university leaders, including Professor Dr. Mohamed Abdo Amasha, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Mohamed Abdel Hamid Shehab, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, the deans of the university's faculties, and pioneers and students of the "Students for Egypt" family. This comes within the framework of enhancing cooperation between educational institutions and the state to support student activities and build future leaders. In a speech by student Anas Eid, Vice President of the University Student Union, he said: “Today’s breakfast is not just a meeting, but a message we are sending to everyone. We are a generation that believes that unity is the foundation of strength.” Student Sara Emad, head of the university's student union, said: "The governor of Damietta's presence today reinforces our confidence in the state's support for youth. I joined the 'For Egypt' family to learn how to be a leader capable of creating change, and our influence will continue because we represent a large entity, Damietta University." In his welcoming speech, Professor Hamdan Rabie El-Metwally, President of the University, expressed his happiness with the event, emphasizing that the "Students for Egypt" family is a beacon illuminating the path to excellence for their colleagues. In his speech, the university president addressed the students, saying, "You are a source of pride for the university and the nation, and our confidence in your abilities is boundless." He also thanked the event's organizing committee for their exceptional efforts. For his part, Professor Dr. Ayman Al-Shahabi, Governor of Damietta, expressed his happiness to share in the joy of the "Students for Egypt" family today, adding: "The activities you are doing are not limited to the university, but rather reflect on the development of society as a whole.
