In the context of his constant keenness to follow up the progress of the educational process and ensure the provision of the best educational services to students, Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie Al-Metwally, President of the University, this morning, December 22, 2024, made an inspection tour of a number of the university’s colleges, to see directly the level of academic and administrative performance and the progress of work , and ensuring the provision of an appropriate educational environment that supports the development of the educational process in various specializations. The tour began with a visit to the College of Nursing, to see its work progress, and the university president inspected the administrative offices and study halls. Then the President of the University moved to the College of Computing and Artificial Intelligence and was received by Professor Dr. Wael Abd Al Kader, Dean of the College, and he made an inspection tour inside the practical exam testing laboratories, where he was assured of the provision of the necessary devices and equipment to support students in performing practical exams. Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie stressed the importance of these specializations in keeping pace with global technological developments, stressing the need to continue working to raise the level of education in them. The university president then headed to the College of Arts, where he inspected the classrooms and educational facilities. He held meetings with a number of faculty members and administrators, discussing with them the most important developments. On the sidelines of the college visit, Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie Al-Metwally, President of the University, witnessed part of the discussion of the Master’s thesis in Arts, specializing in documents, libraries, and information, presented by researcher Marwa Abdo Abdo Al-Khamisy, entitled: “Jobs available to graduates of library and information departments in the private sector in Egypt - an analytical study.” The university president congratulated the researcher on obtaining her master’s degree, wishing her success in her scientific and practical career. The university president's inspection tour concluded with a visit to the College of Archeology, where the university president inspected the college's laboratories and reviewed the progress of the practical exams in the specialty of antiquities restoration, accompanied by Professor Dr. Yussr Ezz Al-Regal, Dean of the College. It should be noted that this visit is part of the university president’s plan to periodically monitor the progress of work in all university colleges, in order to ensure providing the best educational experience to students and achieving the highest levels of academic performance.
