The Academy of Scientific Research and Technology announces the opening of nominations for distinguished scientists and experts for the 2025 COMSTECH Awards, which are awarded biennially to honor outstanding achievements in science and technology.

The awards include cash prizes ranging from $2,500 to $8,000 and include:

1. Chemistry and Biology: (cash prize of $8,000)

2. COMSTECH Young Investigator Under 40 Award (cash prize of $4,000)

3. Best Scientific Book (published by an international publisher during 2023-2024) (cash prize of $4,000)

4. Patents (patents registered within the past five years are taken into account) (cash prize of $4,000)

5. Best Research Paper in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics (cash prize of $2,500 each)

6. COMSTECH Excellence in Scientific Communication Award. (A cash prize of $2,500).
