Sanctions/Penalty Lifting Conditions:

First Article:

First:

Sanctions imposed on staff members are lifted with the passage of the following periods:

  • Six months for warning from the date of the penalty.
  • A year for written censure
  • P

Second:

Sanctions are lifted according to the following procedures:

  • A request is sent to the dean of the faculty who refers it back to the department board.
  • In case that the department board accedes to the request, it is referred back to the faculty council and then to the university council.
  • When the university council accedes to the request, the chancellor and the dean of the faculty make an executive decision to lift the penalty.
  • As for junior staff members, they send the request to the dean of the faculty who refers it to the department board to accede to it. Then, it is referred back to the faculty council to send it to the chancellor for making an executive decision concerning the sanction lifting.
  • Sanctions are erased from the staff member’s cv/file, whether they are senior or junior.

Article Two

  • These paragraphs are applicable since 31/10/2012 and any paragraph stating otherwise is null and void.
