In continuation of the follow-up of the maintenance and restoration work of university cities, Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie Al-Metwally, President of the University, today, September 1, 2024, visited the University City for Girls to inspect the stages of completion of maintenance and restoration work, redevelop the city, and follow up on the finishing work. His Excellency was accompanied by Professor Dr. Mohammad Abd Al Hamid Shehab, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, in the presence of Professor Dr. Hamdi Al-Ghandour, Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Ahmed Al-Gamal, Head of the Civil Engineering Department, Professor Dr. Mohamad Shehab, Vice President of the College of Engineering for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Eng. Hanan Al-Halafawi, Director General Engineering Affairs at the University. The University President reviewed the rate of completion of maintenance and restoration of some facilities in the city and its facilities, and ensured the availability of safety and security standards in all buildings and facilities in the university city, in order to provide an appropriate and safe environment as part of the university’s preparations to receive and accommodate students in the new academic year 2024/2025. The university president directed the speedy completion of maintenance and restoration work and adherence to the agreed upon time frame before the start of the new academic year.
