On Sunday 25 / 10 / 2020 , Professor , Dr. Khaled Abd Al Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, inaugurated a number of projects at the university in his first visit to the university. , The  president of the University Professor , Dr. El Sayed Mohamad Dadour, welcomed the Minister and his accompanying delegation,the event began with a symbolic reception from students Scouting team. After that, the Minister met with the members of the University Council, where he discussed many important matters related to the educational process. Then the Minister inaugurated the laboratories of the College of Nursing (Obstetrics and Gynecology Lab and Baby  lab & Critical Cases and Emergency Lab) that were equipped with the latest devices and simulation models that contribute to the qualification of a distinguished graduate in the labor market. Then the Minister opened a building and laboratories of the College of Computers and Information that were equipped with the latest computers and systems that help support the scientific and practical experiences of the college graduate. Then the Minister inaugurated the laboratories of the Faculty of Engineering equipped with the latest systems and equipped with the latest equipment and devices, some of which are present for the first time in the Egyptian University, as well as laboratories that are used for the first time in the corresponding different engineering faculties such as the thermodynamics laboratory and the electrical power systems laboratory.
