Today, February 12, 2025, Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie Al-Metwally, President of the University, witnessed a symposium organized by the College of Computing and Artificial Intelligence in the “Farouk Shousha” conference hall, entitled “Confronting destructive and erroneous ideas and terminology.” In the presence of Professor Dr. Mohamad Abdo Amasha, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Wael Abd Al Kader, Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Mohamad Heikal, Vice President of the College for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and a number of deans of the university’s colleges. In his opening address, Professor Dr. Hemdan Rabie Al-Metwally, President of the University, welcomed the attendees, stressing the importance of these seminars in light of the current challenges and stressing that such events contribute to enhancing intellectual and cultural awareness among students, and fortifying them against any ideas that may threaten their stability or future. The university president pointed out that students need to benefit from the expertise and guidance of knowledgeable and experienced people, expressing his great confidence in their abilities, and that they will be the reason for making Egypt the best country in the world.
