Damietta College of Commerce was established as classes of Mansoura College of Commerce
in Damietta on February 1985 when the Prof. Esam El-Deen Mohamad Zayed was the dean
of Mansoura College of Commerce and in cooperation with Prof. Ahmad Geweely the
governor of Damietta at that time. In 1988 the college was transformed to a branch
of Mansoura College of Commerce and the class of 1989 was the first class of branch
of Mansoura College of Commerce which provides its educational services to Damietta
governorate under supervisor of professors. Finally presidential decree no. 267
of 2006 was issued on 12/7/2006 that classes of Commerce in Damietta becomes an
independent college provides high quality educational services for Damietta governorate
and neighboring regions under supervisor of professor/ Mervat Tal'at El-Mahalawy
the dean of the college.
