The university president attends a symposium (Building Awareness and Community Peace)

        Today, Tuesday, March 21, 2023, Prof. El-Sayed Mohamad Dadour, President of the University, witnessed a symposium entitled “Building Awareness and Community Peace”, which was organized by the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector in cooperation with the Egyptian Council of Tribes and Families, in the presence of Prof. Abd Al-Hamed Khedr, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development and Prof.. Hemdan Rabie Al-Metwally, vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Prof. Wael Farouk Al-Taybany, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and the deans of the faculties, the vice-presidents of the faculties, the male and female students of the university. Mr. Ibrahim El-Sayed Kamel, Head of the Egyptian Tribes and Families Office in Damietta Governorate, explained the objectives of the Tribes Council.     Prof. Abd Al-Hamed Khedr, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, thanked the guests. Prof. Mostafa Kamel, Dean of the Faculty of Law at Damietta University, talked about the economic situation and economic conditions that Egypt is going through now, and what is the reform role that must be available at this time. The great journalist Magdi Sablah, former Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Hilal Press Foundation, spoke about media awareness, the type of media messages, and how the forum receives them. Al- Sheikh Dr. Ali Khalil, Deputy Sheikh of Al-Azhar for Al-Azhar Institutes, spoke about religious awareness, its moderation, and confronting extremism. The President of the University welcomed the guests of the symposium from inside and outside the university, thanking them for attending, and conveyed to the attendees the greetings of Prof. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education, to the attendees. He also extended congratulations on the occasion of Mother’s Day and on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, and referred to the university administration is always working to provide social peace, as the university is a large community with about 45,000 affiliates. At the end of the meeting, a number of memorial photos were taken and shields were exchanged between the university president and the head of the Egyptian Tribes and Families Office in Damietta Governorate.
