About Batony Department

Department of Botany is one of the seven departments of Damietta College of Science. Botany department was established with establishment of the college in the academic year 1984/1985.Botany department provides undergraduate and postgraduate students with necessary information and skills in all branches of botany including both higher plants and microorganisms The students of Department of Botany get the bachelor degree in three branches: (Botany, Botany & Chemistry, and Microbiology & Chemistry)that qualify them to work in the different fields of Industry, Agriculture, Education, Health and business. (Plant Ecology and Applied Microbiology) In addition to Master's degree and PhD degree. These branches cover all the fields of Botany. The department comprises a group of distinguished staff members and assistants cover all majors .
