Vision

The department’s vision is to become a worldwide center with special character to promote the local society in the fields of teaching , research and applications connected to the local environment which is part of Egypt .It also seeks to demonstrating the importance of Egypt’s strategic location in our modern age.

Mission

The mission of our department is to prepare our students scientifically and to qualify them to work in all government’s institutions especially planning authorities as well as working in the field of education and measuring authorities ( land , air , civil or military ) . It also seeks to promoting scientific research in the field of natural and human geography , serving national and regional projects , developing the cartography job skills , serving the environment in addition to developing the society.
