Terms of reference
- Estimating actual needs and calculating consumption rates for each item
- Classifying materials and quantities and ensuring provision of items in light of the International Standard Industrial Classification (ISIC)
- Determining storage levels and minimum and maximum limits for each item
- Preparing the necessary statistics and data for inventory monitoring and control as well as explaining causes of economic recession.
- Taking into account the technical aspects of warehouse and storage affairs and handling slow-moving inventory and possibilities of either using or getting rid of it before purchasing new items.
- Preparing periodic and annual reports on the inventory activity and directly communicating them to the university president.
- Studying slow-moving inventory and ways items can be reused or replenished
- Studying the needs for a moving inventory and inputs and ways to use it
