Terms of reference

Compiling issues to be addressed in the University Council, classifying them, preparing the necessary agenda and presenting it to the Secretary General to ensure appropriateness and viability of procedures

Preparing the minutes of meetings, recording them, endorsing them in the meeting records, and taking actions to get them signed by council members and ratified by the University President

Monitoring the implementation of recommendations and decisions endorsed by the University Council and addressing competent authorities in this regard

Monitoring the work of technical committees emanating from the University Council

Compiling and updating issues that need to be addressed and decided on by the University Council

Presenting the issues pertaining to the University Council to the University President to decide upon

Following up decisions of the Deans Committee and those of the Supreme Council of Universities and reporting to respective bodies and stakeholders

Preparing reports pertinent to the University Council and the Supreme Council of Universities and submitting them to the University President
-
Other pertinent miscellaneous duties
