Vision
The department’s vision is based on the department’s study plan that aims at keeping up with the latest modern and contemporary developments in the French literature, language and comparative literature in order to link the east to the west and to consolidate the distinctive relations between Egypt and France [Language and Culture].
Mission
The department’s mission is to prepare our students to master the French Language, civilization and its various branches of literature so as to qualify them to work in the various educational institutions that serve the society, Media and Translation institutions and all the institutions concerned with the Francophone Organizations.
