Vision

The department’s vision is to become a characteristic scientific center through promoting scientific research fields in teaching and applying this through specialists in the field of History in order to develop the local environment , its scientific and applied institutions as well as protecting the human heritage in Damietta.

Mission

The History Department is one of the scientific specialized departments in the College of Arts in Mansoura University. It contributes to preparing and qualifying our students to work in the various institutions in the fields of teaching , education and training , cultural and educational fields, public services, libraries, press , media as well as monuments through transformational training based on the idea that history is the basis of the various sciences.
