Vision

The department’s vision is to become a specialized scientific and research center in the field of teaching sociology and doing social researches to solve the problems of the local community in Damietta as part of scientific research plan within the Egyptian society according to the latest researches and global studies.

Mission

The mission of the department is to prepare highly qualified Social researchers and social specialists who have the ability to practise social work efficiently in the various social technical and administrative fields through field , applied and academic preparation as well as research holes in Bachelor and Higher studies stages. These studies and researches aim at serving the local society , solving its problems and achieving progress.
